I'M DEPRESSED!I mean it...
Depression, insomnia, dementia, body pains…
This is the reality of a lot of traders that you never get to see.
To many who come into the financial markets, Trading = soft life.
Traveling to expensive islands, Yacht cruise with pretty women.
They fantasize about wealth in a short time and expect to attract women at the mere mention of being a ‘trader’.
In reality, women don’t even seem to like people who sit on a boring screen all day staring at charts. Most traders seem to live a boring life filled with mental clutter.
And even more than most careers, they deal with a lot of risks - coupled with the fact that most fail at it.
Hardly does trading make anyone wealthy. Investing does.
Most money made by people in crypto comes from getting in early and holding prospective coins with conviction.
I stress conviction because it’s highly required to survive the emotional turmoil that comes with investing/trading.
Trading is an interesting adventure. To enjoy this adventure, it’ll require money, adequate knowledge, and time.
People with less money tend to trade more, act desperate, and fall prey to the market - eventually trading their health for a pipe dream.
I’ve never been an advocate of intra-day trading. Constant staring at charts, scalping STF, jeopardizing sleep/social life…
Here’s what you should do:
Draw up a watchlist upfront, analyze and set alerts, find entry triggers and make your calculated bets while managing your risks.
Sounds easy? You have to even be extremely good with TA for every other point to be valid.
Make room for error so you can live to fight (trade) another day.
There’s no holy grail to trading.
It’ll cost you time, money, knowledge, discipline, and a lot of patience.
