Dump? Here’s When Next Your Favorite Token is Getting Unlocked
Tools can come in handy in your crypto journey, and I’ve just found another valuable one for you!
It’s easy to get caught up in the bull season buying tokens that seem like blue chips - after all, they have plenty of fancy Venture Capital raises that give credulity for validation. However, these raises usually have vested tokens allocated to VCs in exchange for their money. These tokens are released over the course of a few years - usually 4-5, with periodic unlocks.
What do you think happens when these tokens are unlocked for VCs, especially in a bull season? Of course, they’ll take some profit, causing token price crashes.
Knowing when to anticipate these dumps can be helpful in your analysis and decisions. Maybe you want to buy post-unlock? Or even sell ahead of the unlock?
