Deep down, a lot of people know what they must do to change their lives, even though they don’t admit it.
The secret usually lies in a competency you know you must acquire
But you’re unwilling to put in the time or pay the cost for knowledge.
If you can read, write, and surf the internet, chances are you know what to do.
You must begin to ask the right questions.
While a physical mentor is helpful, you don’t necessarily need one.
There’s Google; and even the more advanced chatGPT that could give you tailored responses, sieving out the chaff.
Stepping into crypto in 2016, I never had a physical mentor
It’s the same for all the digital skills I’ve acquired (and still acquire)
The free YouTube videos, the courses you purchase, the articles you read…
They’re all forms of indirect mentorship.
Every time you seek the easy way of random side hustles or get-rich-quick schemes,
You short-change yourself, negatively paying the cost in time that you can never recover.
This has resulted in a herd mentality that makes most people in crypto think that memecoins will make them rich.
The odds are 1:10000; except you’re creating the coin and rugging blind followers - a crime that is punishable by law.
I’ve always been an advocate of learning a skill and working in crypto.
If you want sustainability in the ecosystem, be a builder - you’re never going to beat them.
You can suffer losses trading, but there are no downsides to your productivity because the value is intrinsically generated.
This rant applies to every field beyond crypto.
Another year is winding down, are you still going to hope that things turn out well next year, without making any measurable commitments to change your life?
