Bitcoin to One million dollars? “Nonsense!”
Popular 74-year-old cryptocurrency advocate eats his words!
The highly controversial Cryptocurrency advocate John Mc Afee has squashed his own initial predictions of the price of Bitcoin hitting $1 million by year-end.
In a recent tweet, McAfee claimed that Bitcoin is the most crippled tech and that the initial prediction had humor in it.
He also added that people who believed his “absurd” forecast should “wake up.”
In his explanation, he claimed that if Bitcoin ever hit $1 million, its market cap would be higher than the GDP of the entire North American Content.
Earlier in January, he tweeted that Bitcoin is an ancient technology, albeit the first; and that newer blockchains have privacy, smart contracts, distributed apps, and more.
In response to a comment, he concurred that his own newly launched privacy-based coin “Ghost” alongside another cryptocurrency “HEX” will achieve much more than bitcoin.
Mc Afee is quite well-known in the crypto space and has previously shilled a lot of pumped and dumped tokens.
Little wonder his fans on Twitter seem tired of his antics as they weren’t surprised by their reactions.
Do you agree with John Mc Afee’s that bitcoin price hitting $1 million by year-end or even in the future is a total joke, or are you counting on the endlessly printed central bank fiat to do the magic?
